The One & Only Studio 27 is the next step in the evolution of tattoo studios inspired by award winning Texas artist Daniel Upton. Starting in the tattoo and piercing industry in San Antonio, TX in the early 90’s with his first Award Winning Studio “Dandyland”. Followed by the “Golden Apple Studio” on 6th street Austin, TX, Rocking out 10 years of tattoo crazy fun! However, 10 years is 9 years longer than anyone should work on 6th street, so it was south and San Marcos bound. This quaint college town, with a river running through, has become home. The old town feel of downtown San Marcos soon became the location of the “One & Only Studio”, from 2016-2024. We are excited to announce that we have a new owner and are in the process of rebranding and remodeling “The One & Only Studio 27”. We look forward to giving San Marcos a safe, fun and professional atmosphere.
